From more than forty-year-old vineyards, some of which are on chalky clay soil (Baga) and sandy soil (Touriga Nacional) come the grapes that make this natural wine so beautifully round and flavorful. The grapes are hand-picked and crushed before the initial 3-week fermentation begins. Spontaneous fermentation without controlled temperature in in lagares and stainless steel. Some of the wine undergoes another wood aging of several years in 600 liter barrels.
